IT Administrator (Costa Mesa)
Position duties include maintaining servers, network and workstations as well as the planning, implementation, coordination, management and maintenance of their company wide information technology systems and applications.
Candidate must demonstrate direct experience or a related experience managing the following technologies - Windows Servers (2003 and 2008), Virtualization (Hyper-V & VM Ware), Exchange Server 2008, Shoretel VOIP System, SQL Server, Sonicwall, Datto Backup, Netgear ReadyNas, Active Directory, Unix administration, Apache and IIS Software.
The IT Administrator will participate in the development; implementation, testing and support of IT related projects that contribute to our company growth and be responsible for supervising desktop support staff members.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's degree (5 years minimum related IT experience with some certifications)

• CCNA Associate Certifications or greater
Requirements and Skills:
• 5+ years experience installing, maintaining Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 Operating Systems
• 5+ years experience installing hardware and software on server and desktop including RAID configuration
• 5+ years experience with Active Directory, and Exchange Server 2010 server management and maintenance EMC console and Powershell
• 5+ years experience with Windows System Administration and with the implementation and management of Hyper-V environments and VMWare environment
• 5+ years managing Sonicwall VPN devices or VPN equivalent
• 5+ years experience with Virus and Spyware removal, Trend-Micro Worry Free Business Solution preferred
• 3+ years managing on premise Shoretel VOIP system across a multi-site environment (experience with ECC preferred)
• 3+ years managing, installing backup on-premise and cloud based solutions. Experience with Datto preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Strong Understanding and Knowledge of Windows System Administration
• Strong Understanding of Network topography and theory including LAN, WAN, VLAN, DMZ configuration, monitoring, security and troubleshooting (Netgear switches preferred)
• Experience with desktop application support (Microsoft office suite, MAS, RDP)
• Basic html experience (general programming and scripting experience a plus)
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, hardware and software vendors
• Ability to work effectively and meet deadlines with little supervision
• Ability to create patch cables, and run wiring
• Adhere to procedures and protocols defined by HIPAA
• Familiarity with audio and video system setup
• Experience managing web server software like Apache or IIS 6 and IIS 7
• Manages and maintains the data and voice connectivity with outside vendors
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
• Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.
• Provide Tier III/other support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
• Establishes network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, output, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.
• Self-motivated and team player
• Must have excellent communication and problem solving skills, and be able to work under pressure
• Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to work on multiple projects at once
• Experience in Enterprise or large corporate environment preferred.
• Ability to lift 30+ pounds
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Database management is a plus, specifically SQL
